GALA VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
EXIST AT ALL SKILL LEVELS, COMFORT ZONES, AND TIME COMMITMENTS.
This fundraiser offers new volunteers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced committee members while welcoming new ideas and energy to keep the Gala fresh and prosperous. Auction Operations and Merchandising
A team of many receive, process and distribute donations. Leaders in training needed to shadow the build of the Online Auction System and work with the Event Planning Committee. Organized people with a can do attitude and big picture perspective needed.
Communications
Schedule internal parent and external donor gala messaging and promotions. Leaders in training needed to shadow distribution of renewal requests to prior year donor database via email. Have a flair for targeting communications and promoting your school? Organized cheerleaders welcome!!
Donation Solicitations
Reach out to potential donors to solicit donations for the auction and raffle prizes. Many businesses welcome the opportunity to support our school and LOVE to contribute since it is great advertising. Friendly, confident people who are happy to request donations and follow-up with contacts and local businesses needed! A team will share these hunt and gather responsibilities from December thru mid-March.
Data Entry
This can be done anytime on any computer with Internet access, for as much time as you are able to offer. A team of individuals working on their own flexible schedule makes this contribution easy and seamless. Enter descriptive copy, company information, and photos/logos into the Online Auction System. Attention to detail is a bonus. Processing starts late January and continues thru March.
Event Planning
Secure event venue, manage catering and event vendors. Work with Auctioneer. If you are creative, organized and know how to throw a good party – this is for you! Dream up a great space to celebrate and bring it to fruition. Leaders in training needed to shadow external vendors hires.
Creative & Catalog Design
Design the auction catalog with content provided from Event Planning and Auction Operations Committees.
